In the winter of 2007, Rythmic Beat Rental was launched with great success into our Hillcrest branch. The overwhelming response to the programme available at the time proved its undeniable innovative superiority to the current offerings from our competitors.
For 2011, we have made our rental concept even simpler: for a small fee of only R25, a Backbeat member is entitled to rent 1 movie and get 1 free. Renting 2 movies at a time, our Backbeat members are welcome to keep their rentals for as long as 25 days, avoiding the hassle of inconvenient early morning returns. Once you have finished watching them at your own pace, you simply return them and can then rent again for an additional R25. What could be simpler? No more late fees or threatening phone calls for late returns! Backbeat members now have the ability to steadily work their way through our entire catalogue, which boasts the latest releases right through to the old classics that you wanted to watch, but never had the chance to.
And we haven’t forgotten our non-members either! We know that every now and then, it just gets a bit difficult to get that darned DVD back to the shop on time. Well, at Rythmic Beat Rental, we cut you a whole lot of slack.
Only Backbeat members qualify for our permanent Rent 1 Get 1 Free deal, but should you bring your movie/s back excessively late, we will unfortunately have to fine you, but… you will receive your entire fine back in the form of vouchers which you can then redeem to obtain a free movie when next you rent.
