Can I use my Backbeat membership discount online?

Yes, providing your account is up to date. Click on the "Sign In" link, enter your membership details in the "New Users" section, and your discount is automatically generated. Please note: the email address entered onsite must be the same as the email address provided on your original Backbeat application form. If this has changed, please email us at support@rythmicbeat.co.za to update your details, prior to online registration.


Are your prices the same in stores and on the website?

Not necessarily. Prices on our website are independent of our physical stores


Do you accept Cash deposits?

Yes, we do. During checkout, kindly select the "Cash Deposit" option. After checking out, kindly note the 8 digit order number. Deposit the total amount at any FNB bank, payable to Rythmic Beat with the following details:

Once done, fax this receipt to 086 583 4884 and then kindly confirm reception of the fax by phoning 0861 7984642. Please note that all faxes must be confirmed. All orders must be paid for and confirmation faxed through within 30 days of the order being placed. All orders will be cancelled after 30 days. The reference number on your deposit slip is absolutely essential and will be checked when you confirm your fax. Please ensure that the exact amount is paid as Rythmic Beat will only process your order when the exact amount payable is received.


Can I use a Rythmic Beat or Backbeat Gift voucher online?

What do I do if any pages don't display correctly on my browser?

We are aware of a few glitches in certain browsers. The most stable browser to view our site on is currently Mozilla Firefox 3.5, available to download free of charge at http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/.


What do I do if I don't see the item that I am looking for?

Please use the "Search" function first to ensure the item is not present. If you are still having difficulty finding what you are looking for, please kindly fill out the form on our "Requests" page. Someone will get back to you shortly with regards to your query.

 

Is shopping on the Rythmic Beat website safe and secure?

Absolutely! We take security extremely seriously at Rythmic Beat. How do I purchase an item?

If you wish to purchase any item on the site, simply click on the "More info" button and then "Add to cart". Your cart will display the number of items and value currently chosen in the top right hand corner of the browser screen. When you are ready to check out, simply click on your shopping cart and if all is in order, simply "Checkout". You will be guided through the entire secure checkout process through a series of easy to understand instructions.

 

What's the difference between DVD and Blu-ray ?

Blu-ray (BD) was developed to enable recording, rewriting and playback of high-definition video (HD), as well as storing large amounts of data. The format offers more than five times the storage capacity of traditional DVDs and can hold up to 25GB on a single-layer disc and 50GB on a dual-layer disc. In addition BD differs from DVD in the following categories : storage capacity,laser technology, disc construction, image resolution, player compatability.


What payment options do you offer?

Currently, all major credit cards are accepted. You may also do an EFT or manual deposit to pay for your order. Rythmic Beat and Backbeat vouchers are unfortunately currently not accepted.


How do I edit my details (email address, password etc)?

You may edit your account details only once you have logged in.


Can I contact you via SMS?
 
Unfortunately not.  Our SMS system is a one-way only system.  Kindly contact us either via email or the callcentre number.


How can I tell if you have stock of an item?

Our current system unfortunately does not make provision for an on-hand listing.  Upon completion of checkout, you will be advised within approximately 24 hours if your order was in or out of stock.


How will I know if something is "Out of Stock"?

We will send you an email or SMS to inform you if something you have ordered is out of stock. The item will go onto backorder and your order will ship as soon as it arrives. Should the item go onto backorder for more than 3 (three) weeks, we will contact you to ask you how you would like to proceed.
